We use mold-resistant silicone in showers and tubs. Trim caulk is paintable acrylic.
Silicone vs acrylic caulk?
Silicone for wet areas (shower, tub) β flexible and waterproof. Acrylic for trim β paintable and easier to work with.
How long until I can use the shower?
Silicone cures in 24β48 hours. We recommend waiting before heavy water exposure.
